National, September 10, 2014 (STAT):- IndiGo, India’s low-cost and low-carbon airline, announces 4 new domestic and 2 new international daily non-stop flights connecting Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Bangkok operating daily non-stop flight between Delhi-Jaipur from September 10 and and second daily non-stop flight between Ahmedabad-Kolkata and Kolkata-Bangkok from September 26.

IndiGo, in its commitment to providing maximum connectivity from across the country on its network will be providing increased frequencies on the routes and offering greater travel options to both business and leisure passengers across these cities, and allow them to experience the hassle-free and on-time performance that IndiGo is synonymous with.

Effective September 26, with 532 flights connecting 36 destinations across the nation & abroad, these new flights will further consolidate IndiGo’s position as the fastest growing airline in India.

Elaborating on the launch of the new daily flights, Mr. Aditya Ghosh, President and Executive Director, IndiGo said, “It is a reason for us to celebrate as we at IndiGo are absolutely excited to launch the daily direct flights between Delhi and Jaipur and new introduce the second flight from Kolkata to Bangkok, which is testimony to our commitment of seamless and hassle-free travel to people across these cities. IndiGo has always promoted offers and connectivity that add immense value to our passengers’ travel in addition to a great flying experience.”

Enhancing customer experience, IndiGo became the first airline to in June to introduce ‘Advance Pass’ service. Under the free of charge service, the passenger will be checked in and receive the boarding pass in their mail inbox 48 hours prior to the departure at no extra charges. The passengers can also drop their bags at the bag drop counters which are available at major airports. Earlier, IndiGo also announced the launch of first time ever ‘Family Fares’ which offer discount up to 25% for a family of four or more travelling together in a single PNR, for a maximum of nine passengers, subject to availability. The offer is valid across all domestic flights and destinations.
