JULY 6, 2015: Heathrow, the UK’s hub airport has teamed up with easyBus to provide its passengers with a new way to get to and from the airport. The partnership sees the launch of a route from Shepherds Bush to Heathrow and will take as little as 30 minutes.

Brian Woodhead, Commercial Director at Heathrow said, “This new service is a fantastic addition to a variety of transport services to and from Heathrow and we’re delighted to start this partnership with easyBus. Heathrow is the UK’s best-connected transport hub. It has the UK’s only dedicated non-stop express airport rail-link, free travel zone, it contains the UK’s busiest bus and coach station, and it’s the only airport with London Underground stations. To have another service that is both convenient and great value is something I’m sure our passengers will be delighted to hear.”

Stelios Haji-Ioannou, easyBus chairman and “easy” brand owner, commented, “Heathrow has welcomed the value of the easy brand. This new service will be good for consumers as it expands the easyBus offer throughout the capital. Now virtually every air passenger to London has the opportunity make great savings with easyBus.”

Peter Hyde, CEO easyBus, added, “We are very pleased to be able to offer our outstanding value for money product to Heathrow consumers. Journey times are as little as 30 minutes allowing customers to access the centre of London directly and quickly.”
