HAECO ITM to offer inventory management abet to Nippon Cargo Airlines

December 1, 2017: Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Company (HAECO) has signed an agreement with Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) to offer long-term Inventory Technical Management (ITM) services for the airline's fleet of Boeing 747-8 freighters.

According to reports, HAECO ITM which is a member of the HAECO Group has agreed to provide a comprehensive inventory technical management support to Nippon Cargo Airlines.

It comprises AOG support, component repair management, component exchange, component inventory access and component engineering to reinforce component reliability and operational efficiency of Nippon Cargo Airlines.

HAECO is one of the global aircraft engineering and maintenance service providers. It offers a wide-ranging technical support that encompasses airframe services, line services, cabin solutions, private jet solutions, fleet technical management, inventory technical management, component overhaul, aero structure repairs, landing gear services, engine services, parts manufacturing and technical training.

Incidentally, HAECO ITM is a joint venture between HAECO and Cathay Pacific Airways. It specialises in offering services ranging flexible inventory pooling options, power-by-the-hour support and repair management to ad-hoc loans, exchanges and world-wide AOG support. The long-term agreement shall help provide a tailored component support programme for the airline. It will also showcase HAECO ITM’s proven ability to serve the Japanese market, and demonstrate our expertise to meet with the requirement of cargo operators.”
