SEP 9, 2015: Finnair Cargo’s shared freighter service with IAG Cargo between Helsinki and London, Luton (LTN) starts on 16th September. The route will be operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, with A300-600 freighter aircraft.
This brand new, tailor-made service to match Finnair’s and IAG Cargo’s networks benefits customers by significantly improving connectivity between Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas. It also makes London a new hub for Finnair Cargo - supported also by up to seven daily narrowbody flights between Heathrow and Helsinki by Finnair and BA together. Cargo originating from the UK or Americas will be carried to onwards Asia utilizing Finnair’s extensive belly network to Asia.
