Finnair Cargo’s inaugural flight to Pittsburg takes off

Tapping into the exceptional demand for air cargo, Finnair Cargo operated its first-ever cargo-only flight to Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh will operate as a charter destination for one of Finnair Cargo’s Asian customer delivering automotive parts to Northern America. The first flight to Pittsburgh departed from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport on April 26 and is the first of series of booked charters for the route.

Finnair Cargo will operate on a same day schedule, leaving Asia in the morning, swift crew change and re-fueling in Helsinki in the afternoon and arriving to Pittsburgh the early evening the same day.
