Oct 14, 2019: Riyadh Airports Company (RUH) has roped in Nick Platts as its new director for cargo (designate). Platts will take over this position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from Nov 3. This news was confirmed by Platts to STAT Trade Times.
Prior to this, Platts was the cargo head at Heathrow Airport. During his tenure, Heathrow received the approval to build a third runway.
After serving Heathrow Airport for close to eight years, he quit from his position on Oct 9.
