Dubai, UAE – December 23, 2014 (STAT):-The busiest weekend in the history of one of the world’s busiest international airports – Dubai International – was managed without a glitch following days of planning and preparation by operator Dubai Airports, partners and government authorities.

The three terminals at Dubai International welcomed a total of 638,317 passengers from Thursday December 18th through Saturday December 20th. Friday was the busiest day for the airport in terms of departures with traffic reaching 112,111 passengers while Saturday was the busiest for overall traffic with 216,807 passengers. The airport welcomes some 160,000 passengers on an average day.
