DSV act as a coordinator between the different production sites and customers in Belgium to ensure smooth processing, verification of material and support in obtaining the correct documentation, export licenses and much more. Managing director, DSV BELUX, Mohamed Siraj said: “You need it, we move it”.
Through a combined network of DSV’s own flights, charters or part charters and its strong relationship with commercial airlines, the company designed a reliable solution at fair market prices to support customers and governmental authorities. In collaboration with the handling agents at different airports such as Brussels, Liege and Luxembourg, DSV process material as efficient and fast as possible and offer supplementary services to its customers.
As per Christophe Eulaerts, sales director of DSV BELUX, going the extra mile to offer a real end to end solution is absolute key, the right people on the right key location offers an added value which makes the difference. When the COVID-19 crisis started, DSV noticed that a lot of its customers had issues to get orders confirmed and released by the Chinese authorities in order to connect on the booked flights, which often resulted in extra costs as deadlines were not kept. DSV managed to align supply chains to actual flight schedules and have the most efficient result.
DSV is now set out to reach the next milestone of delivering 200,000,000 mouth masks.
