“DME Aerotropolis” presented on the Cannes investment forum

MAR 19, 2015: More than 4.5 thousands investors were able to get acquainted with the project “DME Aerotropolis” being at MIPIM 2015 – the largest international exhibition of real estate. This year, the forum brought together about 22 thousand participants from 93 countries of the world. MIPIM is held annually and is a unique place to find partners, because it involves players of all sectors of the real estate market.
Moscow Domodedovo Airport presented the project of Airport-City creation at such event for the first time. “DME Aerotropolis” is a new form of the town-planning structure, including business parks, logistic and industrial centers, shopping malls, technological, information and communication centers.
At the “DME Aerotropolis” stand airport specialists presented the various aspects of project development, including construction of a logistics center and a gas station, parkings and a car maintenance center, hotels and fast food restaurants, exhibition and shopping centres. Airport-City situated in close vicinity to Moscow Domodedovo Airport will become the core of DME Aerotropolis.
Domodedovo is the largest air hub in Russia and Eastern Europe. It also meets the requirements applied to the airports seeking to develop in the format of the aerotropolis, primarily available and sufficient land resources for the city-airport development, including 7 000 hectares for DME Aerotropolis construction.
The Aerotropolis is an unusual project itself and attracts attention of developers and investors from other countries because it allows obtaining the synergy of allocation convenience providing the quick and direct connection to suppliers, clients and partners worldwide. The main customers of most facilities are air carriers, passengers and airport’s guests.
