Mumbai, December, 3 2014 (STAT):-DHL Global Forwarding, the air and ocean freight specialist within Deutsche Post DHL, recently won three awards - Best Logistics Service Provider, International Logistics in Automobile, and Auto components and Engineering & Industrial Goods respectively at the recently held Frost & company’s focus on extending the best in class services to its esteemed customers.

“DHL has demonstrated its competence in the logistics industry by combining global presence with local knowledge, as well as its innovation, service excellence and commitment to providing customers with superior end-to-end solutions. This award has greatly encouraged us to maintain and improve the benchmark that we have set for ourselves”, said Samar Nath, Chief Executive Officer, DHL Global Forwarding.

The Executive address at this prestigious event, well attended by the C-Suite of various industries, was delivered by Ratan N. Tata, Chairman Emeritus, Tata Group.

In 2003, Frost & Sullivan instituted the “India Logistics Voice of Customer Awards” (ILVoC Awards). The ILVoC Awards recognize the best companies providing logistics service to various industry verticals and achieving “Excellence in Logistics”. Logistics Awards are based on a structured research process evaluating performance of logistics service providers by logistics managers in end user companies across industry verticals.
