APR 1, 2015: Consolidated Shipping Group (CSS), the network agent for the FPS Group of independent forwarders and consolidators in seven countries has celebrated its 20th anniversary.

CSS was founded in 1995, with a small operation catering for local logistics requirements in Dubai. It has since grown to become one of the largest privately-owned freight forwarding and logistics businesses throughout the Middle East and Indian subcontinent, with 800 staff and bases in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, India and Pakistan.

The company now provides a broad portfolio of services including NVOCC, Freight forwarding, 3PL & 4PL, projects, heavy equipment logistics and re-locations.

The CSS milestone was marked by a series of conferences and meetings, a gala dinner and a golf event held in its home base of Dubai. The celebrations continued in neighboring Abu Dhabi, with a carnival theme party. The CSS Management and senior staff from the company’s various locations joined with the group’s worldwide partners – including several other FPS members - for the various events, which were held over a three-day period.

Says Chairman of CSS Group, T S Kaladharan (suggested quote), “On behalf of my senior management team, I extend our gratitude to the Government of the UAE, our loyal customers, our valued partners and, most importantly, our trusted employees - for enabling Consolidated Shipping Group to reach this momentous milestone.”

Adds FPS Group Advisory Board Chairman Benny Ling, “We join with our friends at CSS in celebrating this major event in their history. CSS has made a major contribution to the success of FPS; we wish them continuing good fortune and look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
