FEB 7, 2015: CMA CGM Group announced that CMA CGM Tigris will be calling the Port of Santos. The CMA CGM Tigris is a 10,622 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) vessel that will be added to the fixed-day and weekly SEAS2 service. It will call 13 ports, connecting Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay to China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and South Africa within 90 days.

The introduction of this vessel is in line with the CMA CGM Group’s flexibility, and its strategy of fleet adaptation regarding its clients and markets’ needs. Equipped with the largest capacity in reefer plugs on such a ship, the vessel allows an unprecedented loading capacity of meat, poultry and fruits, some of Brazil most exported products. Its structure responds to the draft constraints and Brazilian ports infrastructure.
