China Southern launches Guangzhou-Paris-Vienna-Guangzhou route

AUG 7, 2015: China Southern put its twelfth Boeing 777 Freighter. The brand new plane made its maiden flight on Guangzhou-Paris-Vienna-Guangzhou route. By then, China Southern has become the one who own the largest fleet of B777F in China, and the third in the industry.

This year, China Southern has introduced four B777s. And these fresh freighters took China Southern freighter fleet to twelve B777Fs. B777F, which is well known for its efficient operation cost, long range with larger capacity, and environment friendly, will let China Southern become more competitive in its long-range routes to America and Europe.

China Southern is set to boost Guangzhou as an important aviation cargo hub following the set up of Guangdong free trade area. And there are totally six freighter placed at Guangzhou hub. As the expansion of the fleet, China Southern launched two new weekly freighter routes (Guangzhou-London-Frankfurt-Guangzhou, and Guangzhou-Paris-Vienna-Guangzhou) in June. This brings the total worldwide China Southern network of Guangzhou to 6 freighter routes and 6 foreign destinations including Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Vienna, London, Paris, and Los Angeles.
