February 22, 2018: Cargonaut and Kale Logistics Solutions signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to create a digital corridor that will enable effective management of cargo flows and related information to establish shipment visibility and reduce unnecessary administrative paperwork involved in cargo movement between India and the Netherlands.

The MoU, signed at the second day of the 7th edition of Air Cargo India in Mumbai, is an important trade facilitation initiative from the two companies. The MoU also assumes great significance both for India and Netherlands as the two countries have great deal of trade and commerce.

Interestingly, the MoU was signed after two important panel discussions that took place on Wednesday as part of the Air Cargo India conference. While the first panel discussion, hosted by Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, discussed ‘facilitating global trade: how air cargo is making it happen’; the second panel discussion of the day, hosted by Lufthansa Cargo, explored digitalisation in the air freight industry.

The MoU was signed by Amar More, CEO, Kale Logistics Solutions, and Bart Pouwels, ?Director Business Development Cargo, ?Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the presence of Vandana Aggarwal, Economic Advisor, Ministry of Civil Aviation; Angshumali Rastogi, Director, Ministry of Civil Aviation and Manoj Singh, Senior Vice President & Head - Cargo, GVK Mumbai International Airport.
