Jan 12, 2016: Cargolux has appointed Gerard Ter Bruggen as its new regional director West and North Europe, covering Benelux, the UK, Scandinavia and Baltic States.

Gerard Ter Bruggen has 35 years of experience in the airline industry and has held various roles in traffic, operations, customer service and country management and sales and marketing.

He joins Cargolux from Qatar Airways where he held the position of Cargo manager North and Western Europe. His career in the air cargo industry also includes previous stints at Martinair, Pan American World Airways, Dragonair Cargo and Cargo B Airlines.

“His vast experience and excellent contact with the major customers are an important factor and will certainly help Cargolux to further expand and strengthen the relationships with our clients.”

Ter Bruggen took over his new position on January 1 and will be based in Amsterdam.
