Dec 13, 2018: Frankfurt Airport has seen another month of decline in November when it comes to cargo traffic.
The airport informs the cargo throughput including airfreight and airmail declined by 2.1 percent to around 196,537 million metric tonnes.
At the same time, the hub sees growth of 4.7 percent year-on-year in passenger numbers in the reporting month. It attributes the growth to rise in European traffic (6.1 percent) as well as intercontinental traffic (4.3 percent).
