Liege, August 21 2014(STAT):- CAL Cargo Airlines, provider of top-‐quality professional worldwide air cargo services announced that it has purchased a new 747-‐400-‐ERF an original 2007 manufactured freighter.

This completes the upgrade of CAL’s fleet to two new open nose and door freighters.

“We expect the freighter to be ready for service in November, giving CAL a competitive advantage by transporting cargo to the greatest possible distances around the globe,” said Offer Gilboa, owner and chairman of the CAL Group.

“We clearly defined a corporate strategy designed to strengthen our company and enable growth, andThis new aircraft is central to achieving our goals”. Built in 2007 and, the aircraft is an ERF model with

GE engines. While many airlines are reducing or even terminating their freighter capacity, CAL is significantly extending flight distance capability, fuel consumption and loading capacity. The upgraded fleet will support and expand CAL’s specialization in non-‐standard cargo such as oversize and overweight, dangerous goods, cool chain and live animals. With these new freighters, CAL is able tofly non-‐stop from its Liege hub to Latin American and Asia Pacific.
