Bombardier announces American Airlines firm order for 24 CRJ900

FEB 11, 2015: Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced that American Airlines has signed a firm order for 24 CRJ900 NextGen regional jets. This order was announced on December 30, 2014 and followed American exercising 24 of 40 previously booked CRJ900 NextGen aircraft options. The options were originally acquired as part of American’s large regional jet order announced in December 2013.

As previously announced by Bombardier, based on the list price for the CRJ900 NextGen aircraft, the firm order is valued at approximately $1.14 billion US.
