Apr 19, 2017: Bolloré Transport & Logistics Ivory Coast has been selected to manage logistics operations for the construction of the athletes’ village for the Francophone Games to be held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
The 8th Francophone Games, the largest sporting and cultural event in the French-speaking world will be held from July 21-30, 2017.
As part of this construction project, Bolloré Transport & Logistics Ivory Coast is entrusted with the customs clearance and on-site delivery of over 1,000 containers by road from the port of Abidjan.
The Bolloré Transport & Logistics Ivory Coast teams also provide a value-added service on site by taking care of unloading the containers, delivering equipment right outside the various foundations, and returning empty containers from the future village back to the port of Abidjan.
Bolloré Transport & Logistics Ivory Coast teams are therefore mobilised throughout the logistics chain from the port of Abidjan to the site, which will be home to the next Francophone Games village.
Finally, all these logistics operations, which comply with the latest QHSE requirements and standards, are monitored and documented by setting KPIs and sharing them regularly with the customer.
