Nov 9, 2018: On November 6, 2018, Shanghai-based Cosco Shipping and Bollore Logistics signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish a strategic cooperation and explore ongoing and future projects and opportunities in airfreight services at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) 2018.
Both the companies have started to discuss the following cooperation opportunities: travel retail cooperation, luxury automotive imports, import customs brokerage in China and import of temperature-controlled pharmaceutical products in Pudong International Airport (PVG).
In the frame of this MoU, both parties should create a specific temperature-controlled warehouse for air import of pharmaceuticals at Pudong International Airport (PVG), aiming to turn the PVG Pharma Warehouse into a high-quality service solution in PVG.
“This MOU highlights the desire of the two parties to partner in the field of airfreight and specifically develop a common vision in the area of warehousing service for pharmaceutical products,” said Thierry Ehrenbogen, CEO of Bollore Logistics.
