Sep 6, 2019: This week Bollore Transport & Logistics inaugurated its new Abidjan multimodal logistics hub, Aerohub.
The company invested over €6 million to launch the initial phase of the project, out of a total €12 million earmarked in the long term.
Aerohub will receive, store and distribute via a tri-temperature platform (frozen, positive cold, ambient temperature) goods intended for the Cote d’Ivoire and sub-regional market for companies in the mass retail, telecoms, pharmaceutical and catering sectors.
The hub features the latest-generation equipment and promotes sustainable logistics in West Africa.

Located at the Felix Houphouet Boigny airport and close to the Port of Abidjan, the hub serves as a connection point between international sea and air logistics flows as well as final consumers.
Aerohub stands apart through the integration of innovative systems designed to shrink the carbon footprint of its business activities. It is equipped with a low energy consumption (LED) lighting system with movement detectors and a storm-water holding reservoir, together with electric handling equipment that in the long term will be powered by solar panels.
