Bolloré buys Global Solutions to expand offerings in the Scandinavian market

January 30, 2018: With an aim to expand its footprint in the Scandinavian markets, Bolloré Logistics has recently acquired majority stakes in the Danish freight forwarder Global Solutions A/S.

The acquisition is part of Bolloré Logistics' strategic development plan to fuel its external growth. As one of the five international freight forwarding and logistics leaders in Europe, it's pulling out all the stops to enhance and strengthen its global network.

The latest acquisition is expected to further help Bolloré Logistics expand its end-to-end global offering in the Scandinavian markets.

Having a strong footprint in Norway, Bolloré Logistics' is expected to additionally benefit from Denmark's Global Solutions network, which has a strong presence in the Danish market for about 11 years, with proven expertise in the airfreight, seafreight and express business lines, particularly on the Europe-Asia axis.
