BAC’s Legal Adviser listed on the GC Powerlist

OCT 19, 2015: Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA) commended Fayyaz Mahmood, General Counsel at BAC, for being listed in the prestigious GC Power list: Middle East as one of the most accomplished and highly influential in-house legal counsels. Mahmood has been recognized as one of the top 100 high-caliber legal consultants in the region. A reception was held at the Emirates Towers in Dubai on 15 September to celebrate the leading GC’s in the Middle East where Mahmood was present.

The GC Powerlist is the latest publication by The Legal 500 focusing on the in-house legal function, and recognises the efforts of corporate counsels in shaping the legal industry. The latest edition of the GC Powerlist: Middle East identifies the most influential and innovative in-house counsels working in the region based on extensive research conducted by experienced researchers who specialize in the legal field. The individuals who make it on to the GC Powerlist are selected for being instrumental in changing or forming opinions within their company or industry; developing brilliant technical solutions to complex issues; creating innovative structures to ensure that the in-house function is driving the business forward; or providing a business working model that other corporate counsel should follow.
