AISATS honoured with ISAGO registration at IGI

JULY 21, 2015: Air India SATS Airport Services (AISATS) has been accorded with the IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) registration for adhering to IATA’s stringent and high safety standards at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, New Delhi (DEL). The ISAGO Program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of a Ground Service Provider. ISAGO audit is based on industry proven quality audit principles, conducted in a standardized manner to achieve consistent results. Key parameters like Organization and Management (ORM), Load Control (LOD), Passenger and Baggage Handling (PAB), Aircraft Handling and Loading (HDL) and Aircraft Ground Movement (AGM) were taken into consideration by IATA while certifying AISATS.

Speaking on this occasion Willy Ko, CEO, AISATS said, “IGI Airport, Delhi is not only the busiest airport in India in terms of passenger traffic and second busiest airport in terms of cargo traffic, but is also recognized by the Airports Council International (ACI) as the Best Airport for 2014 (25-40 mppa) at its Airline Service Quality (ASQ) Awards for excellence in passenger service. With this ISAGO registration, AISATS, who handles more than 50% of the flights at DEL, will continue its efforts to make safety a top priority and bring the safety standards at IGI Airport to even greater heights.”

AISATS is now ISAGO registered at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi (DEL), Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru (BLR), Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad (HYD), Trivandrum International Airport in Thiruvananthapuram (TRV), and at their Headquarters in Mumbai.
