Air Lease Corporation announces lease placement of new Boeing 787 Dreamliner with Aeromexico

Mar 01, 2017: Air Lease Corporation announced a long term lease agreement with Aeromexico for one new Boeing 787-9 aircraft with general electric engines. The aircraft is from ALC’s order book with Boeing and is scheduled for delivery in June 2018.
Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, executive chairman of Air Lease Corporation, said, "When ALC began in 2010, Aeromexico was our first customer in Latin America. This will be our second new 787-9 on lease to the airline, the first 787-9 delivered in November 2016. The aircraft will be flown primarily on flights between Mexico and Europe and to Asia, replacing a 777-200 being returned to another lessor."
