FL Technics, a leading global aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider, has appointed Mazvydas Matazinskas as its new Head of Logistics and Storage. The move is part of the company’s continued efforts to optimize operations and expand its footprint across international aviation markets.

Matazinskas brings over ten years of logistics experience, including eight spent within FL Technics’ logistics department. In his new role, he will be responsible for shaping the company’s global logistics strategy, driving internal improvements, and implementing LEAN-driven initiatives.

“This career step gives me the opportunity to apply my accumulated experience to support the company’s growth by developing innovative, LEAN-driven processes, strengthening relationships with international clients, and improving internal operations,” said Matazinskas.

Highlighting the strategic role of logistics in aviation, he noted that FL Technics has provided tailored solutions to MRO providers, airlines, leasing firms, and freight forwarders for more than a decade. In the past year alone, the company has shipped over 20,000 consignments globally.

FL Technics CEO Zilvinas Lapinskas announced plans for further enhancements in the logistics division, including the implementation of 24/7 logistics support, a new transport management system, and team expansion. These updates aim to meet rising global demand and provide greater flexibility to clients.

Currently, FL Technics operates four major logistics hubs in Lithuania, Germany, the UK, and Singapore. The company has delivered to 90 countries over the past year and collaborates with over 160 international clients, including major airlines such as Wizz Air, Lufthansa, and Saudia.

With Matazinskas at the helm, FL Technics is set to reinforce its logistics leadership and strengthen its position in the aviation supply chain.
