Global logistics provider CEVA Logistics has officially broken ground on a major new warehouse facility in Jurong Industrial Estate, western Singapore, further strengthening its position as a regional logistics powerhouse.

Spanning approximately 143,000 square meters, the new facility will become one of the largest logistics warehouses in the country upon its full operational launch in 2027. CEVA will occupy nearly 40,000 square meters of the site, increasing its total warehouse footprint in Singapore to an impressive 370,000 square meters. This expansion cements CEVA’s position as the second-largest contract logistics provider in the nation.

Strategically located, the warehouse will form the core of CEVA’s logistics campus in western Singapore. It will complement CEVA’s existing nearby infrastructure, including two highly automated facilities that feature multi-shuttle and combination picking systems. This connected network is designed to boost operational efficiency and better serve a wide variety of sectors, including aerospace, technology, healthcare, luxury and beauty, and consumer and retail.

The development is also a significant step forward in CEVA’s sustainability strategy. The building is set to achieve Green Mark Platinum certification, Singapore’s highest environmental standard for green buildings. It will be powered by a 7-megawatt-peak solar power system, enabling the warehouse to meet the majority of its energy needs through renewable energy, while also incorporating energy-efficient systems and recycling initiatives to promote a circular economy.

Brunno Matta, Contract Logistics Leader for APAC at CEVA Logistics, emphasized the company’s dual focus on innovation and environmental responsibility: “At CEVA, we pride ourselves on delivering logistics solutions tailored to diverse industry requirements. This strategic expansion of our contract logistics footprint reinforces our commitment to sustainability, automation and customer-centric operations.”

As part of its parent company CMA CGM Group, CEVA’s new development underscores its ambition to be a key player in the Asia-Pacific supply chain landscape, leveraging green technology and smart infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of global commerce.
