Cargojet adopts Aerios’ air cargo charter software to enhance efficiency
Cargojet adopts Aerios’ Carrier App to improve charter management, response times, and customer engagement.

Cargojet, a global leader in air cargo services, has become the first airline to integrate Aerios’ newly launched Carrier App, a digital platform designed to streamline charter operations. The move follows an extensive trial phase, during which Cargojet provided critical industry insights to shape the software’s functionality.
Aerios, a member of the aviation technology group CargoTech, developed the Carrier App to optimize charter management by consolidating customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities, internal reporting, and operational workflows. The software aims to enhance efficiency, improve response times for charter requests, and boost quote conversion rates, helping airlines manage their charter business more effectively.
Simon Watson, Founder of Aerios, highlighted the significance of Cargojet’s role in refining the Carrier App. “Cargojet’s early adoption and feedback have been invaluable in shaping the Aerios Carrier App. The alpha program and partnership with the Cargojet team have been an incredible journey,” he said. “Cargojet is the first of many carriers to go live with the Carrier App, and I look forward to announcing more partner airlines in the near future.”
The Carrier App introduces an advanced CRM component that provides deeper insights into Cargojet’s charter business. By integrating internal data and analytics, the system enables the airline to identify new opportunities with both existing and potential clients. It also plays a crucial role in strengthening business development efforts, allowing Cargojet to refine its strategies and enhance customer engagement. Additionally, the platform helps assess the value and nature of lost charter opportunities, providing insights that can be used to improve future conversions. This data-driven approach ensures that Cargojet can continuously refine its charter strategy and offer more tailored solutions to its customers.
Enhancing customer service and market positioning
The adoption of Aerios’ Carrier App reinforces Cargojet’s commitment to innovation and customer-centric service. By automating key charter management processes, the airline expects to enhance its ability to serve brokers and clients with greater speed and efficiency. The centralized platform also allows for better visibility into available aircraft capacity, helping the airline market its services more effectively.
As the demand for air cargo charters continues to grow, digital tools like the Carrier App are becoming essential for airlines looking to stay competitive. Cargojet’s move to integrate this software highlights its forward-thinking approach in a sector where speed and reliability are critical.
By utilising technology to optimise operations, Cargojet is positioning itself for sustained growth in the air cargo charter market. The airline’s adoption of Aerios’ Carrier App is expected to set a benchmark for other carriers looking to modernise their charter management systems.
