Kirsten de Bruijn joined WestJet on May 1, 2022, with extensive experience working with the world's top cargo airlines. She took on the challenge of building a cargo carrier from the ground up. With only a few days until their commercial launch!

Following the approval and official certification of its four 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighters (BCF) by Transport Canada - Transports Canada, WestJet Cargo, and The GTA Group will quickly put three freighters into service as dedicated aircraft to meet the large-scale needs of businesses, freight forwarders, shippers, and individual customers across North America. Following the completion of its conversion, the fourth of WestJet Cargo's dedicated freighters are expected to join the accompanying fleet later this year.
