Brendan Sullivan, Global Head of Cargo IATA talks to Cargo Masterminds
It took a while for the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to appoint a global head of cargo as Glyn Hughes decided to leave the post right in the midst of a global pandemic. The pandemic devastated the passenger side of the aviation industry but the cargo business was and continues to be in the spotlight. The industry expected IATA to have a strong leader picked for the top cargo job at the apex airline industry association as quickly as possible. Young, vibrant and bright Brendan Sullivan was appointed only recently to the position. In this episode of Cargo Masterminds, Sullivan speaks with Reji John, Editor of STAT Media Group, about what his priorities are for the cargo industry and his vision for the industry in those key priority areas - security, sustainability and digitalisation.
