Sathiyavathy takes over as DGCA

New Delhi, January 6, 2015 (STAT):- M Sathiyavathy has taken over as the new Director General of Civil Aviation, succeeding Prabhat Kumar. She is the first woman to be appointed for this post. She will have a term of three years.

Sathiyavathy has held several important positions before her appointment as DGCA. She was Chief Secretary to the Puducherry, Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India
