Samir Shah elected as chairman of FFFAI

SEPT 30, 2015: Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations in India (FFFAI) held elections of office bearers for the term 2015-17 on 28th September 2015 in Kolkata.

Samir Shah was elected as chairman of FFFAI for the term 2015-17. Ashish Pednekar, A.V.Vijaykumar, Shankar Shinde, Sujit Chakraborthy, Sudhir Agarwal and S.Ramakrishna were elected as vice chairmen of FFFAI for the term 2015-17. Amit Kamat was elected as secretary of FFFAI for the term 2015-17 & Vinod Sharma was elected as treasurer of FFFAI for the term 2015-17.

During the 52nd Annual General Meeting of FFFAI in Kolkata, the members of FFFAI appreciating the achievements and contributions of David Phillips - chief executive, Freight Systems Co. Ltd. (LLC) and Swapan Sadhan Bose - founder, Ripley & Co. Stevedoring and Handling Pvt. Ltd included their names in the prestigious ‘FFFAI Hall of Fame”. FFFAI Hall of Fame was instituted 2012 during the Golden Jubilee of FFFAI to recognise and appreciate the contributions and achievements of those individuals who have made the logistics fraternity and the country proud. Prior to these names of Arvind Parikh, Shashikiran Shetty and TusharJani have been included in the FFFAI Hall of Fame.
