Aeronaves to get three MD-83SF freighter conversions next month

November 15, 2017: Aeronautical Engineers Inc (AEI) recently has signed off a contract to provide three additional MD-83SF freighter conversions to Mexico-based Aeronaves TSM.

The three MD-83SF aircrafts shall commence its modification in December 2017, February and April 2018, respectively by the Commercial Jet’s Florida facility.

Recently, AEI delivered an MD- 83SF to TSM which represents the largest overall operator of AEI’s MD-80SF series freighters.

Beside, TSM would operate 10 AEI MD-80SF series freighters. Additionally, TSM currently has two AEI CRJ 200SF which is undergoing conversion at the Commercial Jet’s Alabama facility.
