C.H. Robinson launches Agentic Supply Chain to revolutionise logistics
The platform enables real-time decision-making, faster planning, smarter cost optimisation and greater supply chain control.;
C.H. Robinson has unveiled the Agentic Supply Chain, a new AI-powered logistics platform designed to help companies across industries instantly deploy artificial intelligence in their supply chains. Announced at the company’s Advance 2025 annual event, the system continuously learns, adapts and makes real-time decisions to optimise global supply chains at scale.
The Agentic Supply Chain goes beyond traditional automation, using advanced AI to understand context, self-optimize processes and act on insights across planning, procurement, delivery and replenishment. C.H. Robinson’s digital workforce, the Always-On Logistics Planner, already performs millions of shipping tasks previously impossible to automate.
Arun Rajan, Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, said the solution addresses a growing demand for AI in business. “Companies in every industry are under increasing pressure to employ AI or get left behind. There’s no better place to start than your supply chain,” he said.
Customers using the platform can expect faster shipment planning, smarter cost optimisation, improved visibility and control, greater agility, and more bandwidth for their workforce. C.H. Robinson combines its Lean operating model with the largest logistics dataset in the world and the expertise of seasoned logisticians to deliver these benefits.
Mike Neill, Chief Technology Officer, highlighted the platform’s ability to unlock previously inaccessible data. In September alone, a single AI agent captured 318,000 freight tracking updates from calls, feeding predictive ETAs and optimising deliveries.
CEO Dave Bozeman said the initiative reflects the company’s long history of industry innovation. “Instead of chasing disruption, we’re engineering it and engineering it from within,” he said. The Agentic Supply Chain builds on AI models first deployed for thousands of customers since 2023, representing a major step forward in smarter, faster and more resilient logistics.
