Liege Airport has announced a new scheduled cargo service operated by Supernova Airlines connecting Liege with Ostrava. The service runs four times a week and adds capacity for time-sensitive shipments, e-commerce, and industrial freight moving between Western, Central, and Eastern Europe.
Supernova Airlines was founded during a period of operational constraints and has built its model around resilience and adaptability. The carrier has expanded its presence across European corridors where cargo demand continues to grow. The new route reflects its focus on maintaining uninterrupted cargo flows even when traditional networks face disruption.
Frederic Brun, Head of Commercial at Liege Airport, said, “Supernova Airlines’ choice of Liege Airport strengthens our position as a key gateway to Central and Eastern Europe. This new connection ensures seamless access to regions where air operations remain challenging, offering reliable solutions for customers who depend on uninterrupted cargo flows.”
Natalia Holynskaya, Deputy CCO and Head of Sales at Supernova Airlines, said, “Launching our LGG–OSR connection is an important milestone in expanding our European network. Liege Airport offers the operational freedom, infrastructure, and 24/7 cargo expertise that support our growth and our commitment to delivering high-quality air transport solutions to our customers.”
The partnership strengthens regional supply chains and supports Liege Airport’s continued role in global cargo operations. Both organisations expect the service to improve access to distribution hubs and support growing trade across Europe.
