LOT Cargo has announced a new collaboration with Tive, a provider of IoT solutions for real-time shipment visibility, as it begins 2026 with a focus on enhancing cargo monitoring.

From February 2026, LOT Cargo’s partners will be able to request Tive Solo Lite (TT-8100) tracking devices to be placed on shipments at the carrier’s hub at Warsaw Chopin Airport. The devices will provide real-time data on shipment location, temperature and light exposure, based on a simple request from partners.

LOT Cargo said the solution has been designed to minimise operational and compliance challenges. The devices operate on non-lithium batteries, helping to reduce inconvenience under IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations requirements (SP A199). The airline believes the technology will help tackle key air cargo challenges, including prolonged exposure of perishable or pharmaceutical shipments to ambient temperatures, misroutings and missing cargo, and the unnecessary opening of high-value shipments.
