Kuehne+Nagel to acquire aerospace logistics leader Eastway
Acquisition to boost Kuehne+Nagel’s global aerospace logistics network and expand its service capabilities worldwide.;
Kuehne+Nagel has announced plans to acquire Eastway Global Forwarding, a leading aerospace logistics provider, in a move that will strengthen its position in the global aerospace logistics market and support its growth ambitions in the fast-developing sector.
Headquartered in Limerick, Ireland, Eastway is a family-owned company with a network spanning 130 countries. It is recognised for its expertise in time-critical aircraft-on-ground (AOG) services, aircraft engine logistics, aviation warehousing, and customs brokerage. The company also provides full lifecycle services for the aviation leasing industry, which owns over half of the global aviation fleet. The sector is projected to grow in value from $187.1 billion in 2024 to $565.1 billion by 2034, at a compound annual growth rate of 11.8%, according to CAPA Global Market Insights.

The transaction, subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions, is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Once finalised, Eastway will become a fully owned subsidiary of Kuehne+Nagel.
