IAG Cargo opens applications for its 2026 Graduate Programme
The 24-month programme offers rotations, industry training and career opportunities across key business functions.;
IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group, has opened applications for its 2026 Graduate Programme, highlighting the company’s continued focus on developing talent for the global air cargo industry. The programme, based at London Heathrow, runs for 24 months and aims to give graduates a strong foundation across key business areas.
The company said that most graduates from its 2023 and 2024 programmes now hold full-time positions within IAG Cargo or the wider IAG Group. The 2026 programme will offer hands-on experience across Logistics, Data, and a newly added Commercial stream.
IAG Cargo designed the programme to give participants in-depth exposure to different functions while helping them build the skills needed for long-term careers in aviation and logistics. Graduates in the Data and Commercial streams will remain within their directorates for the full duration of the programme, while those in the Logistics stream will complete one operational rotation and another placement in a business area of interest. This structure aims to provide a broad understanding of the company’s end-to-end operations.
Caroline Andrews, Chief Customer and People Officer at IAG Cargo, said the programme continues to play an important role in shaping future industry talent. She said the 2026 intake reflects the evolving needs of the business and the wider sector, adding that more than two thirds of graduates from 2023 and 2024 have already progressed into permanent roles. Andrews noted that the company looks forward to welcoming a new group of graduates and supporting their growth.
The programme offers a competitive salary, flexible working arrangements, and discounted flights, positioning it as a strong opportunity for those seeking careers in a fast-paced, global environment.
