AIR ONE International sets up AIR ONE Technics in Dubai South

The new unit will provide line maintenance and airworthiness services for the group’s fleet at MBR Aerospace Hub.;

AIR ONE International Holdings has launched AIR ONE Technics at the MBR Aerospace Hub in Dubai South, marking a significant expansion of its technical capabilities to support the group’s fleet with line maintenance and continuing airworthiness management services.

The new UAE-based company will enhance the group’s technical operations within the country, operating from one of the region’s key aviation hubs. AIR ONE Technics is led by Chief Executive Officer Ayrat Gilmutdinov, an aviation leader with extensive strategic and operational experience, known for his focus on innovation, process optimisation, and data-driven decision-making. Alex John has joined as Director of Supply Chain & Logistics, bringing more than 35 years of expertise in aviation materials and logistics management across major Middle Eastern carriers.

Gilmutdinov said the company was created to reinforce AIR ONE’s commitment to safety, quality, and operational reliability, which remain central to how the group serves its customers.

AIR ONE Technics becomes part of AIR ONE International Holdings, a global aviation group with activities covering aircraft operations, commercial management, and technical support across key international markets.

Commenting on the establishment, Tahnoon Saif, CEO of Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, said the launch highlights Dubai South’s appeal as a destination for specialised aviation investments and reflects its commitment to supporting companies with advanced capabilities to grow and contribute to a sustainable, future-ready aviation sector in the UAE.
