Air France-KLM cargo adds SkyCell 6500X
Air France-KLM Martinair Cargo has added the SkyCell 6500X to its pharma logistics solutions, offering temperature-controlled capacity for larger pharmaceutical shipments.
Air France KLM Martinair Cargo has introduced a new SkyCell 6500X temperature-controlled container, which has been added to a pharmaceutical logistics provider’s temperature-controlled solutions, expanding its capabilities for transporting larger-volume pharmaceutical shipments.
It can accommodate up to five EU pallets or four US pallets in a single unit. It supports temperature ranges of +2°C to +8°C and +15°C to +25°C, even when exposed to external temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C.
The container provides up to 300 hours of autonomous operation, enabling it to maintain temperature during tarmac exposure and ground handling without requiring an external power supply.
The addition is aimed at improving flexibility and efficiency while providing reliable temperature protection throughout the pharmaceutical supply chain. It also strengthens the provider’s temperature-controlled logistics offering as demand for secure and specialised pharma transportation continues to grow.
