Wiremind Cargo and TAP Air Cargo have strengthened their partnership by integrating SKYPALLET with the airline's Cargospot cargo management system from CHAMP. This strategic move is set to revolutionise the way TAP Air Cargo manages its cargo operations, streamlining processes and increasing efficiency.

The integration enables seamless data transfer between Cargospot and SKYPALLET, allowing TAP Air Cargo staff to automatically transfer air waybill data for flights. This facilitates shipment evaluation and flight planning, providing users with an immediate optimisation of their flight plans. The integration also covers critical features such as co-loadability checks, segregation, T-ULD, and more.

By leveraging the API ecosystem of CHAMP Cargosystems, Wiremind Cargo worked closely with the airline to establish this integration. This collaboration has resulted in a significant reduction in the time taken to plan and release a flight. What previously took 15-30 minutes can now be accomplished in a matter of seconds.

“The ability to integrate our solutions seamlessly into customers’ existing software is a product priority for us at Wiremind Cargo, to help unlock process efficiencies and maximise the usability of our solutions. We are particularly happy to launch this solution together with TAP Air Cargo, which has been a valued partner over the past year and a half, and CHAMP to demonstrate the potential of collaboration within our industry,” says Nathanaël de Tarade, Chief Executive Officer of Wiremind Cargo.

“It was always our plan to integrate SKYPALLET with our cargo reservation system, Cargospot, since we engaged Wiremind. Both systems were API ready, and there is always a step change in benefits when you are able to support a business process with a seamless technical integration,” says Rita Rosário Garcia, Product and Service Director of TAP Air Cargo.

“APIs are at the heart of Cargospot's open and collaborative approach. With our extensive integration capabilities—which include one of the industry's most comprehensive API portfolios—we empower our clients to innovate and rapidly create new solutions that transform their businesses,” said Nemil Sheriff, Senior Product Manager—Cargo Portals & APIs.

The integration of SKYPALLET with Cargospot has far-reaching benefits for TAP Air Cargo. It eliminates the need for manual input, reducing errors and increasing productivity. The airline can now focus on more strategic aspects of its cargo operations, driving growth and revenue.

This partnership demonstrates the power of collaboration in the cargo industry. By working together, Wiremind Cargo, TAP Air Cargo, and CHAMP Cargosystems have created a solution that sets a new standard for cargo management.
