Qatar Airways is doubling its cargo capacity by increasing its cargo service between Munich and Doha from two to four weekly flights.

All flights are operated on behalf of DB Schenker, a logistics company. One of the new rotations continues from Munich to Chicago Rockford and back to Doha via Munich.

Markus Heinelt, Director Traffic Development Cargo, Munich Airport said, "We welcome the expansion of our long-standing customer Qatar Airways. It once again demonstrates the growing importance of Munich as a cargo hub."

Recently, Qatar Airways Cargo announced a partnership with iNOMAD, a cutting-edge air cargo platform based in Korea.

According to an official release from Qatar Cargo, the partnership with iNOMAD will enable better connectivity for Woojung Air, a prominent consolidator and one of the airline's major customers in South Korea, and will also help the airline increase its footprint in South Korea as SMEs operating with Woojung Air will be able to compare Qatar Airways Cargo's offerings on the iNOMAD portal.
