National Airlines has deployed a Boeing 747 freighter to transport emergency relief supplies from Dubai to Kathmandu, supporting the UAE Government’s humanitarian response to the devastating floods in Nepal.
The freighter carried essential emergency equipment and materials for communities affected by the disaster, helping deliver critical aid to the region. The UAE Government has allocated $10 million in humanitarian assistance for flood-affected communities in Nepal, under the directives of UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
National Airlines said its participation in the relief operation reflects its support for the UAE’s humanitarian initiatives and its role in facilitating the rapid movement of essential supplies to communities in need.
