Allied Aviation has recorded its highest-ever uplift on an Airbus A330-200 freighter operating from Mumbai, highlighting the role of load optimisation and planning in maximising aircraft capacity.

The operation involved a MASkargo freighter flight departing from Mumbai, where the cargo load was carefully planned and executed to achieve a high utilisation rate. According to the company, the shipment recorded a capacity of 60,000 kg, a gross weight of 62,730 kg and a chargeable weight of 78,811 kg, translating to an estimated uplift of around 125%.

The load planning and execution involved coordination across multiple operational teams. According to the GSSA’s social media post, the operation required detailed checks across compliance, safety, loadability and optimisation parameters to ensure the aircraft’s capacity was utilised efficiently while meeting operational and regulatory requirements.

Founded in 1993, Allied Aviation operates as a general sales and service agent (GSSA) in the air cargo sector, providing services such as capacity management, yield management, customised sales strategies, capacity planning and end-to-end cargo management. With more than three decades of experience, the company handles over 10,000 tonnes of cargo annually and works with airline partners to optimise cargo capacity and improve revenue performance across air freight operations.
