Aircargonet International has entered a new partnership with Latvian national carrier airBaltic, securing a tender to become the General Sales and Service Agent (GSSA) for airBaltic’s cargo business in Germany. The partnership, effective immediately, involves Aircargonet managing all airfreight-related activities for airBaltic in Germany, including sales, flight planning, operations, bookings, and local cargo marketing.

Max Lederer, CEO of Aircargonet International, said, “We are thankful for the confidence airBaltic has placed in us and the entire team and are now looking forward to making this new partnership successful. We gained a strong and highly trusted member with airBaltic, to whom we are committed to delivering and ensuring reliable air freight services in the German market.”

airBaltic, based at Riga International Airport, operates around 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, and Vilnius, serving European destinations, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus with its all-Airbus A220 fleet of 50 aircraft.

Aircargonet, a family-owned GSSA founded in 1999 by Klaus Lederer, is headquartered near Frankfurt Airport. The company has over 25 years of experience in managing airlines’ cargo businesses and represents carriers such as Amerijet, Royal Jordanian, Uzbekistan Airways, Middle East Airlines, Tab Bolivia, and flydubai. The company is also certified to handle dangerous goods and specialises in time-sensitive, temperature-controlled, and oversized cargo.
