Avianca Cargo has listed its capacity on Airblox, an online hub for the air cargo market where forwarders can search and negotiate contract rates while accessing financial solutions.

Brian Kolb, Vice President, Strategy, Airblox says: "We are thrilled to welcome Avianca Cargo to the Airblox platform. With its outstanding reputation for customer service and innovation, the company is paving the way for others, and we look forward to a long partnership."

Leonel Ortiz, Director, Innovation and Transformation, Avianca Cargo adds: "We are very excited to be partnering with Airblox. We want to continue finding new ways to do business and offer different and innovative solutions to our customers. So, this alliance will allow us to continue to deliver high levels of service and greater flexibility when it comes to our capacity and lanes."

Using Airblox as a procurement solution benefits freight forwarders by giving them instant access to multiple airlines' capacities, the ability to book days or months in advance, and getting financial solutions with their payment extension options, according to a release from Airblox.

Avianca Cargo operates around 200 weekly cargo flights across more than 50 destinations in the Americas, and the A330F as the most sustainable cargo fleet based in the region. It is the first airline in the Americas to obtain IATA CEIV certifications in three different categories: Pharma, Fresh and Lithium Batteries, the release added.
