25by2025 is a global initiative led by
IATA to enhance diversity, equity and
inclusion (DE&I) in the aviation industry.
Started in 2019, 25by2025 emphasises the
significance of adopting best practices to
foster greater DE&I and gender balance in
the aviation sector. IATA already has 190+
members and non-members signatories
for the commitment.
Closing the gap
The activity of identifying and encourag-
ing role models is crucial for air cargo and
aviation and for that matter, any industry
and society in the world as the gender gap
in the workplace is still a big hurdle for the
global economy.
