DB Schenker appoints Aaron Scott as CEO for UK & Ireland
Scott succeeds Ray Hennessy who held the position for eight years
DB Schenker announced the appointment of Aaron Scott as CEO for its U.K. & Ireland cluster.
He will report to Helmut Schweighofer, CEO, Region Europe, and succeeds Ray Hennessy who held the position for the last eight years and is moving on to retirement, according to a press release from DB Schenker.
“I’m committed to ensuring a seamless transition and continuing the strong culture of passion, energy, and the customer-centric focus that exists across the cluster,” says Scott. “We have a team of great people in our business and it’s important that we remain focused on taking our customers further by delivering the highest standards of quality and service.”
Scott joined DB Schenker in 2021 and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President, Contract Logistics, Region Europe. He brings an experience of over 28 years to the new role, the release added.
