Magma, HPI deliver life-saving cargo to South Sudan
Cargo flew from Liège Airport to Jomo Kenyatta Airport, and it was then transported by HPI to Juba, South Sudan

Magma Aviation recently uplifted vital cargo on behalf of the Humanitarian Pilots Initiative (HPI).
"The cargo flew from Liège Airport to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. It was then transported by HPI to Juba, South Sudan as part of aid work being carried out by Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders (MSF)," says an official release from Magma.
The cargo contained dropping material used by HPI to airdrop urgently needed medical equipment vital for sustaining MSF’s life-saving interventions and humanitarian relief efforts, the release added. "The destination is unreachable by road due to the ongoing flood season in northern Sudan. So, HPI will be airdropping the cargo to MSF who remain in the region to carry out their critical work regardless of the weather conditions."
HPI is a non profit organisation formed by a group of over 25 dedicated people who volunteer their time in order to ensure humanitarian work can run as smoothly as possible. They offer a super versatile airdrop system service which uses parachutes to drop food, water treatment supplies, and medical items by air, the release added.
