Globe Air Cargo China, part of the ECS Group, has signed a general sales agent (GSA) agreement with Royal Air Brunei Airlines to enhance air cargo operations in China.

The contract is for the entire China, aligning with existing cooperation in other countries, says a release from ECS.

"With a projected tonnage of approximately 100 tonnes for 2023, this partnership underscores the commitment of both Globe Air Cargo China and Royal Brunei Airlines to elevate air cargo services within the region. The primary commodities transported are general cargo and e-commerce cargo, reflecting the significant potential for growth and collaboration in this sector."

Royal Brunei operates three weekly flights from Beijing Airport and one weekly flight from Hangzhou with A320NEO aircraft, offering a combined weekly cargo capacity of around seven tonnes. Two weekly flights from and to Nanning Wuxu have been added, providing an additional weekly cargo capacity of around 4.4 tonnes. "The destinations served by Royal Brunei flights departing from Chinese airports such as Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai Pudong and Nanning Wuxu connect to over 20 global destinations operated by Royal Brunei."

Royal Brunei and ECS Group work together in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States, the release added.
